Raise a purchase requisition with only the item and the quantity; the department, cost center, location, warehouse, currency, need-by date, price and unit are filled from your employee record and the item.

Anything you give is kept as you gave it. Anything you leave out is filled the same way every time, on the Requisitions screen, through the API or in ASK.
