Panel interviews: scoring a selection committee

Weighted scorecards, a panel with a chair, each panelist marking their own row, how the panel’s outcome is reached, overriding it with a reason, ranking the candidates and selecting out of rank.

A committee’s decision is defensible when everybody marked on the same criteria, the marks were combined by a rule chosen in advance, and every exception was written down.
